I’m an editor and culture writer in Brooklyn, NY.

Right now, I edit book reviews at Publishers Weekly. Before that, I was the arts and culture editor at Portland Monthly magazine. My other work has appeared in local, national, and international publications. Here’s my resume and my newsletter, if you’re into that kind of stuff.

I grew up in a log cabin in rural Oregon—which sounds cool but was boring—and nabbed a B.S. in journalism from Boston University.
